Back-to-School Event
Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5:30-7 p.m., at Utz Factory Outlet, 861 Carlisle St., Hanover.

Families needing school supplies for children in kindergarten through sixth grade can pick up a backpack of goodies. This event is sponsored by Utz Foods, Walmart, Hanover Area YMCA, American Legion Post #14, Hanover Moose Lodge #227, Minuteman Press, Burkentine Real Estate Group, and Hanover Eagles Order #1406.

Document Shredding and Damaged License Plate Replacement Event
Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, at my district office, 118 Carlisle St., Hanover.

Protect yourself from identity theft by safely and securely shredding documents that contain personal information like Social Security and bank account numbers. The shredder can handle staples, but paper clips and binder clips must be removed prior to the event. No businesses, please.

Additionally, staff will be available to help you replace damaged license plates. Bring your vehicle with the affected plate attached, as well as your current registration card and driver’s license.
